(SMS) manufactures sensitivity testing equipment for clients who require in-house testing capability for Explosives Testing, In-Process Simulation, or DOT Classification. Available test sensitivity equipment includes ESD, friction, impact, thermal (SBAT), and impingement sensitivity test machines. SMS also manufactures the Time-Pressure Apparatus and Koenen Apparatus. All equipment is custom made and can be tailored to customer needs. The test equipment price includes an on-site training course, providing an overview of equipment components, features, operation, and safety guidelines. SMS also provides on-going customer support for any questions or problems that may arise.
